Two sanitary workers die of suffocation

At least two sanitary workers of Defence Cantonment Board were killed in the limits of Darakshan Police Station on Tuesday. According to police, two sanitary men were suffocated while working underground sewerage line at DHA Phase VI, Khayaban-e-Mohafiz. They were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) where doctor pronounced their deaths, due to inhaling toxic gas.
They were identified as Nadeem, 33, son of Abdur Razzaq and Jameel, 40, son of Isratullah. Police said the victim Nadeem, who was the resident of Bara Board, Pak Colony, was the father of three while the deceased Jameel was living in Manzoor Colony and was father of four. Later the bodies were handed over to the heirs.
