Senior Minister for Commerce Makhdoom Amin Fahim on Tuesday said that Pakistan would participate in the second round of Annual Investment Meeting (AIM), to be held from May 1-3 at Dubai, UAE. Official sources in the Ministry of Commerce said that in this regard, Ambassador of UAE to Pakistan Essa Abdullah Al-Basha Al-Noaimi, formally invited Makhdoom Amin Fahim to attend the second round of AIM.
The second edition of AIM will highlight financing options and emphasise trading possibilities in frontiers and emerging markets with a strong focus high growth sector. The AIM will include an executive leadership conference, country presentation, workshops, sits visits, ministerial working roundtable and an exhibition.
The AIM aims at stimulating international trade and co-operation, strengthen global commercial bond, and provided a new and diverse portfolio of investment opportunities, pointed in the meeting. The sources added that there were great opportunities of investment in both countries. Pakistani investors are very keen to invest in UAE and vice versa.
