OBL family to be asked about destination

Interior Minister Rehman Malik on Friday directed Chief Commissioner Islamabad to hold a meeting with Osama Bin Ladin (OBL) family and enquire from his widows as to which country they wanted to go.
Rehman Malik issued these directives while chairing a meeting, which was attended by Secretary Interior Khawaja Muhammad Siddiqui, Chief Commissioner Tariq Mehmood Pirzada, Inspector General of Police, (IGP) Bani Amin, Director General (DG) Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Tehseen Anwar Shah and other officials, an official said.
He said that the minister directed Chief Commissioner to visit the family of OBL along with a lady police officer and take their consent as to which country they wanted to go. The minister also directed secretary interior to contact Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding consent of the respective countries which the ministry of interior has approached for acceptance of OBL family.
The official said that Malik was of the view that all process of deportation of OBL family would be completed under the existing laws. The minister also directed Chief Commissioner to establish two pollen allergy centres in the capital city as well as conduct polio vaccination campaign in the rural and urban areas. The minister also issued directives to Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Farkhand Iqbal to hold a meeting with all stakeholders and remove paper mulberry trees from Islamabad which are said to be the main cause of pollen allergy.
