Parliamentary leader of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Farooq Sattar on Saturday called for conducting investigations into the plane crash under the supervision of the Parliament. On his arrival with the relatives of the air crash victims from Karachi here, Sattar talking to media said that there was no substitute for human lives; however the payment of compensations to heirs should be ensured.
He said he would take up the matter with the Prime Minister for all possible help to the affected people. He also stressed the need to upgrade the Civil Aviation System. "Answers to questions being raised after the unfortunate incident should be provided convincingly," he said.
