22 Apr, 2012

Adviser to Chief Minister on Trade Affairs Mohammad Ali Mian on Saturday said that federal government's anti-traders policies have destroyed businesses and industry. He was talking to the delegation of traders of Ferozepur Road and other markets. He said that due to the discriminatory attitude towards the provision of gas to industry in Punjab and an acute shortage of electricity, economic challenges are deepening with every passing day.
Muhammad Ali Mian said that that the lust for wealth and loot and plunder of the Qabza Mafia sitting in Islamabad has destroyed national economy. He said that besides nepotism and plunder, new scandals of corruption are coming to the limelight almost daily but the rulers are not serious about it.
He warned that if the government has imposed new taxes on the traders in the upcoming budget, traders would resist all types of new taxation imposed on them. Mohammad Ali Mian said that the provincial government believes in public-private partnership and is taking business community on board on every issue.
