Work on potable water project begins

Pakistan Village Development Programme (PVDP) with the financial assistance of Norwegian Church Aid (NCA) has started work on project for provision of potable water to 2,500 flood affected families in district Swat. The completion of the project will help supply drinking water facility to the residents of the different villages of union councils Bahrian and Madiyan.
The villages to take benefit included Mundey, Ashwar, Perdesha. Kozdabargai, Tangoon, Zahidabad, Damley, Bar Dabargai, Osha and Gullay Kalley. According to PVDP Project Manager Saifullah Khan Bangash under this project the water of hills' top springs would be supplied and conserved in the especially constructed water tanks. He said that all arrangements in this regard had already been finalised.
