KBP protesting hike in power tariff today

Kisan Board Pakistan (KBP Central Punjab) has decided to stage a sit-in on G T Road at Shahkot, Faisalabad, on Sunday to protest against electricity load shedding, unjustifiable increase in power charges and loot by the government in the name of fuel adjustment charges.
KBP Central Information Secretary Haji Muhammad Ramzan said here on Saturday that growers from Sheikhupura and Nankana districts would participate in this protest. Board's Central President Sardar Zafar Hussein, Chaudhry Noor Elahi Tuttla and other office bearers of KBP Central Punjab would address the growers and the protestors. KBP Nankana District Muhammad Sarwar Bhatti and office-bearers of Sheikhupura would be leading the rallies which would join the protest and sit-in at Shahkot, Haji Muhammad Ramzan concluded.
