District Coordination Officer Lahore, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal issued new prices' list (wholesale and retail) of essential items in district Lahore. He said stern action will be taken against the violators of new prices' list.
According to new prices' list issued here on Saturday, Atta 20kg bag will be sold at Rs 570 in wholesale and in retail at Rs 580, Rice Basmati Super price in wholesale has been fixed at Rs 74 and in retail Rs 79 per kg, Rice Basmati (386) price has been fixed in wholesale at Rs 56 and in retail Rs 60 per kg, Gram daal (Grade 1) will be sold in wholesale at Rs 80 and in retail Rs 85 per kg, Gram daal(Grade 2) in wholesale at Rs 75 and in retail Rs 80 per kg, Daal Masoor in wholesale at Rs 70 and in retail Rs 85 per kg, Daal Mash (washed) in wholesale at Rs 100 and in retail Rs 110 per kg, Daal Mash ( unwashed) in wholesale at Rs 100 and in retail Rs 120 per kg, Daal Moong (washed) in wholesale at Rs 90 and in retail Rs 100 per kg, Black Channa in wholesale at Rs 80 and in retail Rs 85 per kg, White Channa price in wholesale at Rs 100 and in retail Rs 110 per kg, Red Chilli (Grinded) in wholesale at Rs 220 and in retail Rs 240 per kg, Basin in wholesale at Rs 75 and in retail at Rs 85 per kg and Sugar white will be sold in wholesale at Rs 52 and in retail at Rs 55 per kg.
DCO, Lahore chaired a meeting for fixation of prices of essential items at DCO office here Saturday in which wholesale dealers, retailers and concerned officers of CDGL attended the meeting. DCO Lahore directed the concerned officers to make ensure the implementation of new prices at every cost. DCO, Lahore said that the prices of essential items will be fixed every month and prices will be fixed with the consultation of all stake holders. He said that rights of citizens will be protected and no one will be allowed for profiteering.
