The Sindh government has given deputy commissioners the powers to issue arms licenses, according to a notification issued on Saturday. According to Sindh Home Department, the directives in this regard go into effect from May 1, 2012. As per the notification, the deputy commissioners will be authorised to issue at least 75 licenses every month.
