Total market''''s open interest position during the outgoing week declined by Rs63 million, down 2.6 percent on week-on-week basis to stand at Rs2.38 billion. The futures volumes followed the same path declining by 11.4 percent on week-on-week basis to 17.2 million shares.
The future spreads also declined by 161bps on week-on-week basis to 4 percent. Top-5 scrips at futures counter holding 60 percent of the total open interest were Engro, DGKC, AHCL, NBP and FFC.
