Sardar Chachar rejoins PPP

An old PPP man having strong influence over his large Chachar tribe Sardar Haji Khan Chachar have re-joined Pakistan People's Party with renewed pledge that he and his community will strengthen the party and carry forward the mission of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.
During a press conference by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah and PPP-MNA, Ms. Faryal Talpur, here at CM House on Sunday, Chachar announced that he had decided to re-join PPP along with his tribe.
He said that he had joined PPP at the hands of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in early 1970s. In 1988, he was elected an Member of Sindh Assembly on the party ticket. He remained in-active in politics for some period due to family engagements. He showed full confidence on the leadership of PPP Co-chairman, President Asif Ali Zardari , Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and Sindh Chief Minister/President PPP Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Syed Khursheed Ahmed Shah highly welcomed Sardar Chachar's re-joining in PPP and said that this would strengthen the party in three districts of Sindh - Kashmore, Ghotki and Sukkur.
Chachar tribe has a big population and stake in politics in these districts, they said. They said that Sardar Haji Khan Chachar had worked hard for PPP since early 1970.
