PIA plane's rear wheels jam before landing

Rear wheels of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) plane, PK-387, jammed when the plane was about to land at Multan Airport. According to details, PIA flight, PK-387, carrying 43 passengers reached Multan at 03:20 pm. Despite arrival announcement, the plane could not land as its pilot failed to open the rear wheels due to some technical fault developed in the wheel-gear, an engineer told this scribe on condition of anonymity.
The pilot continued his efforts to activate its gearing system for 60 minutes and at last succeeded at 04:20 pm following which the plane landed safely at Multan airport. Captain Shahid said he was not ready to take any risk and informed the control tower about the situation. As the plane landed at Multan airport, the passenger onboard offered 'Sajda'.
