While the launch of Samsung’s Galaxy S9 is just round the corner, a new patent has been launched by Samsung for another amazing smartphone.

A new patent filed by Samsung with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) was discovered by LetsGoDigital. The patent titled ‘Electronic appertus employing full front screen’ was applied for back in August 2017. The patent has been filed for a smartphone with entire front full screen display with no bezels, an in-display fingerprint sensor and also a pressure sensitive display.

Samsung’s future phones might be with screens on both sides

According to Samsung, the device will have on-screen navigation bar with menu, home and back keys, and a digital fingerprint scanner will be displayed on the screen when the phone is locked. When the user will unlock the phone, a slight press on the home button will open the microphone for voice control and a hard press will open a list of applications.

Similarly, a slight press on the back button will let the user to customize the navigation bar, whereas, a harder press on the back button will display new range of icons, according to Forbes.

However, this is still yet another filed patent and it’s unclear if the phone will turn into a reality or not.
