DIBPL, Western Union join hands for money transfer service

Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan Limited (DIBPL), a leading Islamic bank in Pakistan and Western Union, (NYSE: WU), a leader in money transfer and global payment services have entered into a collaboration, whereby DIBPL will provide Western Union inbound money transfer service through its 76 branches across 30 major cities in Pakistan. This service will cater to the needs of people in Pakistan who wish to receive money promptly from abroad.
Speaking on the occasion, Junaid Ahmed, CEO of DIBPL said, "Our strategic relationship with Western Union provides us an opportunity to expand our current array of services. Under this arrangement, Pakistanis living around the world can send money to their families at home.
