Two women, girl injured in acid attack

Two women and a girl were seriously injured when two motorcyclists threw acid on them in a Sunday Bazaar in Islampura on Sunday. According to police, Arooj, 23, along with her daughter Fatima, 2, and sister-in-law Saba, 24, was shopping when the accused threw acid on them and fled.
As a result, all the three received serious burn injuries. They were rushed to the Mayo Hospital for treatment. On information, senior police officers reached the spot and started investigation.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shabaz Sharif ordered the CCPO Lahore to present a detail report of the incident.
