Met office has predicted severe heat wave in southern parts of the country in next few days. It said a severe heat wave is likely to develop over south Punjab, upper Sindh and southern/eastern parts of Balochistan on Monday that would grip most of the plain areas of the country on Tuesday. The severe heat wave conditions are likely to prevail for 4-5 days.
It said the day temperatures might rise to 48-50 oC in some parts of the country. It would be the first severe heat wave of the season. In its daily weather forecast for Monday) it said mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country.
