Downward trend was seen on the wholesale grain market on Wednesday in process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Australia shed Rs 200 to Rs 7500, Masoor Canada followed same pattern, losing Rs 100 to Rs 5500 and Masoor Dall gained Rs 300 to Rs 6500, other items maintained their overnight levels in process of trading, they said.
On the grams side, Grams Australia no.1 shed Rs 100 to Rs 7500-7900, Grams Australia Dall No 1 also lost the same amount to Rs 9300-9700, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh sharply lower by Rs 200 to Rs 500-700, they said. Prices were firm on the grams sector, they said.
