Net capital receipts estimated at Rs 477.779 billion

The government has estimated net capital receipts at Rs 477.779 billion in 2012-13 against Rs 395.652 billion in the budget estimates of 2011-12 and Rs 525.497 billion in the revised estimates 2011-12. Total amount of receipts has been estimated at Rs 541.087 billion, of which Rs 353.495 billion is federal consolidated fund.
Recoveries of loans and advances have been estimated at Rs 54.058 billion in 2012-13 against revised estimates of Rs 56.992 billion and initial estimates of Rs 51.610 billion. Provinces' receipts will be Rs 31.529 billion against revised receipts of Rs 36.084 billion. The amount of receipts from others has been estimated at Rs 22.529 billion.
Receipts from permanent debt have been estimated at Rs 143.810 billion, of which Rs 54 billion is estimated from Pakistan Investment Bonds, Rs 90 billion from Ijara Sukuk Bonds, Rs 5 million from FEBCs, Rs 5 million from Rs FCBCs, Rs 5 million from US dollar bearer certificates and Rs 175 million from Special US Dollar Bonds. Receipts from floating debt have been projected at Rs 155.627 billion, of which Rs 45.627 billion will be from prize bonds and Rs 110 billion from Treasury Bills against revised receipts of Rs 160 billion.
According to the budget documents, receipts from public accounts have been estimated at Rs 187.592 billion, of which Rs 178.171 billion will be from saving schemes in 2012-12 against revised receipts of Rs 97.608 billion and initial estimates of Rs 149.200 billion. The estimated amount from GP Fund is Rs 3 billion against revised receipts of Rs 3.5 billion in 2011-12. Receipts from deposits (net) are budgeted at Rs 6.421 billion against revised Rs 6.922 billion and initial estimates of Rs 13.032 billion.
Disbursements in 2012-13 are budgeted at Rs 63.308 billion against revised capital receipts of Rs 24.125 billion and initial estimates of Rs 68.557 billion. Of this government investments', loans and advances and others are budgeted at Rs 27.300 billion against revised amount of Rs 24.125 billion and initial amount of Rs 32.330 billion. Repayments of short-term credits have been budgeted at Rs 36.008 billion in 2012-13 against revised estimates of Rs 24.125 billion and budgeted amount of Rs 36.227 billion.
