Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed took oath on Friday as the permanent judge of the Supreme Court (SC). Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry administered oath to him in an oath-taking ceremony held at the apex court premises. Various dignitaries including judges and lawyers attended the august ceremony It is pertinent to note here that the number of apex court judges rose to 17 after Sheikh Azmat took oath.
