Praising the emerging star all-rounder Hasan Mohsin, the newly appointed captain of Karachi Kings, Imad Wasim, said that Hasan is a promising cricketer as he holds a bright future ahead.

The 20-year-old all-rounder was picked by Karachi Kings in the emerging category for Pakistan Super League’s (PSL) third edition. Imad is excited to see Hasan in Karachi Kings and the captain feels that he holds a bright future ahead.

“I have seen Hasan play, he was with us last year too. He is a very good player, the way he has performed at the U-19 level and in the domestic circuit, he looks like a bright prospect for us,” he said.

Speaking on his new role of captain for the Kings, he said, “I don’t think it will be that difficult.” He said, “Players know their role in the team as we all have played together a lot, I just need to organize them, and then there will be Shahid Bhai’s support so it will not be tough.”

Giving his views on the addition of Multan Sultans in the PSL, he said, “There were many players in our domestic circuit that did not make it to PSL in the first two seasons, the strength of Multan Sultans reflects how many talented players were left in the previous editions, the induction of the sixth team will surely make the competition stiffer.”

The final of the Pakistan Super League’s third edition is scheduled to be played in Karachi on March 25. Karachiites will see international stars in action after almost nine years.

Imad assured Karachi Kings’ fans that they will give their best and will look to perform better than the previous two seasons.
