Private bank's vice president kidnapped

Vice President of a private bank was kidnapped from Gulshan-e-Iqbal area in the limits of Aziz Bhatti police station here on Sunday. According to police, Sohail Iqbal Sheikh, who is executive vice-president of a private bank, was kidnapped by armed men, when he was busy in purchasing saplings from a nursery near his residence.
They said that the kidnappers also took his vehicle with them, which was later recovered from Korangi area. Police said the kidnappers had so far not contacted the family or demanded any ransom for his release.
A case 327/12 was registered under section 365 (kidnapping) of PPC on the complaint of his brother, Raheel, against the unidentified kidnappers. The case was transferred to Anti Violent Crime Cell (AVCC).
