As Samsung Galaxy S9’s unveiling is due in few days, more rumors are coming out regarding the phone and its features. Latest report suggests that the upcoming phone is copying rival Apple’s Animoji feature that was introduced in iPhoneX.
Samsung was already said to be copying iPhoneX’s famous top-notch design for its future phones. This time a new report by a Korean media outlet ETNews suggest that the company will introduce 3D emoji feature in its Galaxy S9 that will be much like the iPhoneX’s Animoji feature.
The 3D emoji feature will function through face scanning technique and will then create a 3D character that replicates the user’s facial movements and expressions. These 3D emojis can also be sent in messages instead of the normal emojis, reported CNET.
Samsung Galaxy S9 likely to feature DSLR-level camera
Also, the report says that this version of Samsung’s 3D emojis is going to be ‘more advanced’ than those of its competitor’s. The new emojis contain different 3D characters such as animals that imitate facial movements, similar to that seen previously in Animojis.
However, it’s not yet clear what is feature going to be called. We all need to wait until February 25 to see if these rumors are true or not when Samsung will reveal its latest flagships at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Moreover, what rumors also suggest is that the Galaxy S9 will have top and bottom stereo speakers. It will come in with a different camera, flash, and fingerprint sensor arrangement, wrote BGR.
