Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to launch new welfare schemes: Hoti

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that the government's special initiatives for the eradication of unemployment and poverty have received wide appreciation, as thousands of families were benefiting from these steps. He said that other welfare schemes would be introduced in the upcoming provincial budget besides continuation of the already launched initiatives.
He was addressing a joint parliamentary party meeting at the Chief Minister's House on Thursday. Those who attended the meeting included ANP's parliamentary leader in Provincial Assembly Bashir Ahmad Bilour, PPP's parliamentary leader Abdul Akbar Khan, Senior Provincial Minister Rahim Dad Khan, Provincial Ministers and MPAs. The CM said that Rs 1 billion would be allocated for Bacha Khan Kphal Rozgar Scheme so that maximum number of youth could benefit from the interest free loan facility under the scheme.
