Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS) Jamshoro Vice Chancellor Professor Mashoor Alam Shah, in appreciation of the meritorious services rendered to medical education and ailing community by Shaheed Professor Aftab Qureshi, has announced to name the Department of Neurosurgery as "Shaheed Professor Aftab Ahmad Qureshi, Department of Neurosurgery" LUMHS Jamshoro.
