PML-N leader concerned over situation in Karachi and Balochistan

Expressing grave concern over situation in Karachi and Balochistan, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Muhammad Pervez Malik termed target killings in Karachi and Balochistan failure of the present regime. Malik said here on Tuesday that Karachi situation is a matter of great depression amongst the business doing people.
He said people are feeling themselves as government has failed to maintain law and order. According to him, terrorism, extortion and target killings forced the Karachi businessmen to close down their businesses and sit at their homes to save their lives. National economy is facing loss of billions of rupees almost daily but government is playing the role of silent spectator.
He said, despite heavy loss of human lives, the government did not evolve a comprehensive plan to stop target killings and terrorism in Karachi and Balochistan. PPP leadership is busy in blame game while terrorists are openly playing their ugly games, he added. The PML-N leader said that business community of the country is already facing crises like massive energy shortage, high input cost, high mark-up and incompatible policies of government while situation in Karachi and Balochistan adding fuel to the fire.
