Punjab government to provide 'flour package' in Ramazan

Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab on Food Muhammad Mansha Ullah Butt has claimed that the provincial government will provide a very economical 'flour package' to the masses during the sacred month of Ramazan. He was speaking to a delegation of flour millers in his office here on Wednesday. Special Assistant said that wheat procurement policy and gunny bags distribution was ensured in a very transparent manner. He said that wheat procurement target of the year was also achieved.
Members of the delegation assured the special assistant that they would ensure smooth supply of quality and full weight flour bags to the consumers during Ramazan. They said flour market is stable due to abundant wheat stocks and there would be no difficulty in smooth supply of flour to the consumers. Those who called on the special assistant included Khalique Arshad (National Flour Mills), Dr Bilal Aslam Sufi (Sufi Flour Mills), Majid Abdullah (Sajid Flour Mills), Ahmad Shahzad (Maqsood Flour Mills), Maqsood Ahmad (Hajveri Flour Mills) and Fayyaz Ahmad of Sattar Flour Mills.
