At least four persons killed in violent incidents

At least four persons were killed in separate incidents of violence at various parts of the metropolis here on Wednesday. According to the police and rescue sources, a 35-year-old Noor Khan, son of Malang Khan, was gunned down in the limits of Orangi Town police station.
The victim, who was the resident of Zia Colony, was targeted by two unknown armed men when he was travelling in his rickshaw. Resultantly, he received multiple shots and died on the spot. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico legal formalities. Similarly, another rickshaw driver namely Gul Mir Khan, son of Dilbar Khan, was shot dead at Gharibabad in the limits of Sharifabad police station. Police suspected that the victim, who was rickshaw driver by his profession, might have been murdered over ethnic ground. Meanwhile, two bullet-riddled bodies were recovered from Sahib Dad Goth in the limits of Memon Goth police station.
The police said the identities of victims were yet to be ascertained, while police found these bodies from Sahib Dad Goth located near Steel Town. The bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico legal formalities and later moved to Edhi Morgue till identification. A case has been registered against unidentified men over the complaint of state.
