Pakistan's tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his doubles partner Jean Julien Rojer have won the doubles event at the Gerry Webber Open, a private TV channel reported Sunday. According to the channel, the duo overcame T.Huey and S. Lipsky 6-3 and 6-4 in the final.
The Pak-Dutch duo had a great run at the French Open, where they reached the semi-finals, only to be ousted by doubles maestros Bob and Mike Bryan.
Qureshi and Rojer have played 13 tournaments together so far and enjoy a top-ten rank (nine) in the ATP doubles team rankings, the channel added.
