Unidentified armed men gunned down a milkman in Fakir Muhammad road area of the provincial capital on Sunday. Police said that unknown gunmen riding bike opened fire at a milkman, killing him. The assailants managed to escape. The victim was identified as Afsar Khan. The police shifted the body to hospital which after post-mortem has been handed over to the heirs.
The police while quoting preliminary investigation said that apparently it was a target killing incident.
The police have registered a case and started probe in to the incident. Further investigation was in process.
