4,150 bottles of foreign liquor seized

Pakistan Coast Guards (PCG) seized a huge quantity of foreign brand liquor at Zero point near Uthal (Balochistan). PCG officials acted on credible information about the smuggling bid from the Coastal Highway. During checking, PCG officials spotted a suspicious truck.
On searching the truck, PCG officials recovered 4150 bottles of foreign brand of liquor and 300 tins of beer hidden under the loose mat material. The truck was coming from Ormara to Karachi. Three persons were taken into custody. The approximate value of the seized contraband was estimated to Rs 25.5 million.-PR
