Indian Prime Minister congratulates Pervez

Indian Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh has congratulated Raja Pervez Ashraf on his election as Prime Minister of Pakistan and hoped for progress in the bilateral dialogue process on all issues. In a message to Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Dr Manmohan Singh said, "I would like to extend to you my heartiest congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan."
The Indian PM in his message further said, "On behalf of the people and also on my own behalf, I convey to you our best wishes for success in your new assignment as well as for the peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Pakistan under your leadership." "I am confident that during your term as Prime Minister, our two countries will continue to make progress in their bilateral dialogue on all issues and build good neighbourly relations by strengthening their co-operation in all areas for the benefit of the people of both countries," said the Indian PM. Dr Manmohan Singh said he was looking forward to work closely with the PM of Pakistan.
