A farewell function in honour of Ishrat Ishaque, the out going Principal of Nursing School Lahore General Hospital (NSLGH) hosted by students and faculty members of the Nursing school was held here on Sunday.
Medical Superintendent LGH Dr Mohammad Hassan was the chief guest of the event while AMS Dr Zia Ullah Cheema, administrative doctors, acting principal Nursing School Kousar Tasneem, nursing instructors and a large number of students were present on the occasion. The students praised the services of Ishrat Ishaque through speeches and skits which were appreciated by the audience.
Dr Muhammad Hassan said that the recognition of services of a public servant by upgrading him or her is always a great moment of his or her career. He said that the services of Ishrat Ishaque have been acknowledged by the Government and we all congratulate her. Ishrat Ishaque while expressing her views said that LGH was her parent institute where she served for eight years and got two promotions.
