Secretary General, Jamaat e Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has said that the responsibility for the killings of Pakistani troops and security personnel in Upper Dir lays with the US and the Nato forces. Talking to the Hizbul Mujahideen Deputy Chief Maulana Javed Qasuri, here on Wednesday, he said that the US had not apologised for the Silala attack but was pressing Islamabad for the restoration of Nato supplies.
He said the supplies restoration would step up terrorist and subversive activities in this country and the government would find it difficult to control that. He added that the Defai-e-Pakistan Council would hold its meetings at Karachi, Lahore and Quetta during next week to keep up its pressure against the Nato supplies restoration.
