'Women entrepreneurs from southern Punjab quite talented'

Women entrepreneurs from southern Punjab demonstrate great potential in business ventures and they are making substantial contribution in domestic cottage industry, introducing Pakistani products abroad, President of Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) Mian Anis A Sheikh said on Friday.
Welcoming a delegation of businesswomen on their arrival from Bangladesh tour, he said that Pakistani women were talented. Chairperson of an MCCI's sub-committee Ms Kausar Sheikh presented her Bangladesh tour report to the President of the chamber. She said that Bangladeshis were greatly impressed by success stories of Pakistani business and professional women. She said they had launched an initiative to promote women entrepreneurship, bringing them together and reach global markets. She said: "Pakistani women entrepreneurs are gaining more and successes," she added.
