Pakistan Muslim League-Q senior leader and Deputy Prime Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that Punjab government under the leadership of Shahbaz Sharif has failed to shoulder the responsibilities and deliver the matters which fall in its domain.
"All government employees including doctors and teachers are on the roads protesting against dictatorial policies and attitude of the provincial government and are being baton-charged," he said while addressing elected representatives, party leaders and workers and people hailing from different walks of life who thronged his residence after he assumed the office of Deputy Prime Minister.
Talking to them, Elahi held Shahbaz Sharif responsible for every wrong which he said is the result of Shahbaz's faulty policies and wrong thinking but Shahbaz is in habit of always putting blames on others for his own faults. He said Shahbaz has already been fully exposed and he (Shahbaz) should indulge in self-accountability and take notice and action against himself. Elahi said the worst law-and-order situation is the biggest example in this regard. Continuing, he said that incidents of robberies, decoities, murders, rapes and abductions for ransom are on rise and have become the order of the day.
