Istanbul: Turkey’s Mehir Foundation held a mass wedding party for 100 Turkey-based Palestinian couples at Sultanbeyli Sports Hall.

The party was held under the slogan of “Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa - there of our joy” in collaboration with the Association of Palestinian Scholars and Sultanbeyli municipality. It gathered large numbers of well-wishers from various Muslim nationalities.

Four trucks loaded with household goods, including clothing, home textile, furniture and cold coins for the couples set out from central Konya province on Thursday, said the head of Mehir Foundation Aygul Erdem.

She added that this is the second such wedding organized by her association.
