PSO successfully renews union contract

Representatives of Pakistan State Oil (PSO's) Company's management amicably concluded negotiations with the office bearers of the Collective Bargaining Agent (CBA) representing union employees for the renewal of the contract with the trade union. The renewed contract valid for three years was signed by Naeem Y. Mir, managing director and CEO of PSO and Rashail Alam, President-CBA on Saturday at PSO House.
Present at the occasion were team members who had participated in negotiations from management side led by Amjad Mehmood Khan whereas the trade union was represented by Rashail Alam, President of CBA; Shafiquddin Moini, General Secretary of CBA and other office bearers.
At the signing ceremony, Naeem Y. Mir, MD and CEO, PSO thanked the trade union for the patience that they demonstrated over the course of the negotiations and called upon them to continue working hand in hand with the management for the progress of the company and the country. The President-CBA thanked the management and assured their full support to take the company to ever greater heights. PSO being a public sector organisation has always upheld the rights of its employees and trade union and shall continue to provide for the needs of its stakeholders in an effective manner.-PR
