Chief minister Punjab advised to negotiate with young doctors

Opposition leader Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz has said that Chief Minister Punjab should negotiate with young doctors immediately. He also stressed the young doctors to show flexibility in their attitude and withdraw their strike at the earliest. Talking to media outside the Governor House here on Saturday, he criticised Chief Minister Punjab for lingering strike of young doctors and expressed the fear that situation would be aggravated further with stern action against doctors.
Raja said that decision about sending doctors to jail and imposition of Section 144 reflects dictatorial approach. He said doctors are asset of the nation and they should avoid confrontation. According to him, different institutions have been used to push Pakistan People Party (PPP) to the wall but all such tactics are proved fail. He said petitions of Asghar Khan and Shahbaz Sharif should be disposed of speedily.
