Bomb explosion at Railway track

Tension gripped Bin Qasim Town on early Sunday morning as a locally made bomb planted at the railway track by unidentified men near Bin Qasim Town police station exploded. According to police, one of the nationalist parties of the Sindh was behind the bomb blast, as the law enforcement agencies recovered literature of the party from the site.
Following the incident, heavy contingent of the law enforcers including district police, railway police, Rangers and personnel of the bomb disposal squad rushed to the site. The blast suspended railway traffic for hours.
According to railway police officials, the explosion did not damage the track as it was planted at an isolated track, adding that another bomb, which was planted at a busy railway track did not went off.
They said nobody was hurt in the blast as explosion occurred early morning. The BDS experts said the bomb was locally made and was containing around 100 grams explosive materials.
An FIR 11/12 was lodged under sections 3/4 of Explosive Act, section 7 of the Anti-Terrorism Act and section 126 of Railway Act at Landhi Railway police station on the complaint of railway employee Asad against unidentified persons.
