Three awarded death sentence in mosque attack case

An Anti Terrorism Court on Thursday awarded death sentences on three counts to Shakir Hussain Shamsi, Waseem Abbas and Sajjad Hussain alias Kaka for killing two persons during an attack on a mosque in Bahawalpur on November 25, 2009. Judge Anti Terrorism Court, Bahawalpur, Suhail Akram also awarded them 66 years of rigorous imprisonment under the Anti-Terrorism Act.
According to the prosecution, Two people were killed and seven others injured when masked gunmen attacked 'Al Qamar' mosque in Bahawalpur.
