Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said that after reviewing recent coronavirus situation, the National Command and Control Centre (NCOC) believes that the nationwide coronavirus tally will be less than 300000 by end of June.
Addressing a press conference alongside Information Minister Shibli Faraz on Friday, Umar said by June 30, the number of coronavirus cases will be 225,000 or less. He said if everyone do their duty on an individual level, a decrease in coronavirus cases can be seen.

He said the government has imposed a lockdown in areas where there are several cases being reported. He said due to the lockdown, the cases have decreased in these areas. He urged citizens to follow standard operating procedures issued by the government.
So far, Pakistan has recorded 195,745 cases and 3,962 deaths.
