KARACHI: Firefighters managed to extinguish an inferno that was erupted at a superstore in the city's posh area Clifton on Sunday morning after hours long rescue efforts.
Fortunately, no casualty was reported till filing of the report, however goods kept in the superstore were burnt to ashes.
The cause of fire was reportedly a short circuit. Fire brigade officials described the fire as a third-degree blaze saying six fire tenders took part in the fire fighting process.
Earlier this month, a bed sheet manufacturing factory, located at the SITE area in Karachi, caught a third degree fire.
