PPPP leader criticises PM over governing policies

ISLAMABAD: Central Information Secretary Pakistan Peoples' Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) Senator Moula Bux Chandio said that Prime Minister Imran Khan "thinks of himself as a general without uniform".

While addressing a news conference with Member Sindh Assembly Lal Chand Okhrani and PPP media chief Nazir Dhoki on Tuesday, Senator Chandio said the PPP had seen off dictators such as Ayub Khan, Ziaul Haq and Musharraf but that was a unique government.

He said people used to take notice of previous governments whereas no one paid heed to that government. He said all the flour, sugar and petrol thieves were sitting with Prime Minister Imran Khan. The biggest sugar thief had fled the country, he said.

"All the people who Imran Khan had called thieves are now in the government. The prices of medicines have gone up and the patients are forced to buy expensive medicines. This is the first government, which has not increased a single penny in the salaries of government employees.

People in Punjab are committing suicides due to unemployment in a government in which 10 million jobs were promised," the PPPP leader said. Senator Chandio said Prime Minister Imran Khan did not have the moral courage to respond to Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.

He said the federal ministers were busy in minting money and paying Imran Khan his share in that loot and plunder. He said the ministers talked about the 18th amendment daily and were frightened of the people. "Today, those people who used to advocate Imran Khan and his policies are shying away from supporting Imran Khan," he said.
