More rain forecast for various areas

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday forecast rain/dust-thunderstorm at scattered place of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan divisions) Upper/central Punjab (Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, D.G.Khan, Faisalabad, Multan divisions) and Kashmir during the next 24 hours.
According to synoptic situation, seasonal low lies over north-west Balochistan and adjoining areas with its trough extending to south-east wards. Monsoon currents are also penetrating into upper parts of the country. Light rain/dust thunderstorm also likely at isolated place in lower Sindh (Mirpurkhas, Karachi divisions), Zhob, Sibi divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Few heavy fall are likely in central KPK during the next 24 hours. In Balochistan, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the province during next 24 hours. However light rain/dust-thunderstorm is likely at isolated places of Zhob divisions during next 24 hrs.
In Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, mostly partly cloudy weather expected with chances of rain/thunderstorm at Scattered places of Kashmir and GB during the said period. Yesterday's highest maximum temperature recorded in Dalbandeen was 46 C.
The maximum temperatures of other cities during last 24 hours were Islamabad 35 C, Lahore 36 C, Karachi 34 C, Peshawar 38 C, Muzaffarabad 37 C, Gilgit 40 C, Murree 25 C, Multan 40 C and Faisalabad 39C. The rainfall was Saidu Sharif 51 mm, Jehlum 48 mm, Rawalpindi 44 mm, Mangla 43 mm, Rawalakot 35 mm, Islamabad 29 mm, Murree 26 mm, Sialkot 24 mm, Gujranwala 16 mm, Muzaffarabad 13 mm, Abbatabad 11 mm, Kotli, Barkhan and Kohat 08 mm, Mandi Bahudin 07 mm.
