The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meets in Islamabad today (Wednesday) with Adviser on Finance Hafeez Sheikh in the chair.
The meeting will discuss the economic affairs of the country. As per details, a nine-point agenda will be considered in the meeting. Under which gas supply to villages in gas reserve areas will be discussed.
Policy guidelines for the provision of satellite services in the country will be considered, whereas a $22.5 million equity investment abroad will also be discussed.
The matters to be brought under discussion also include pump houses in Port Qasim area, underground water tanks projects will be considered.
The road construction project in Port Qasim Industrial Zone is expected to be approved. Meanwhile, plans to build a sewerage system in Karachi are also likely to be approved.
