Number of positive cases slightly increases in capital

ISLAMABAD: The number of confirmed Covid-19 cases witnessed a slight increase on Wednesday in the federal capital as 113 new cases emerged, taking the tally to 14,315.

According to official data, out of 14,315 cases, 11,327 people have completely recovered in the city.

Following recovery of a large number of patients, there are 2,988 active cases in the city, the data says.

Of the total active 2,988 cases, 214 are in Sector G-8, 201 in Lohi Bher, 147 in Sector I-8, 130 in Sector G-9, 130 in Sector G-7, 126 in Sector G-6, 111 in Bara Kahu, 105 in Tarlai, 92 in Sector I-10, 79 in Sector G-10, in Rawat 69, in Khanna Pul 68, in Sector F-11, 58, in Sohan 55, in Sector F-6, 52, in Sector F-8, 52, in Sector E-11, 51, in Chak Shezad 49, in Sector I-9, 44, in Sector G-13, 40, in Ali Pur 38, in Sector F-7, 30, in Koral 36, in Sector F-10, 33, in Sector G-5, 27, in Sector G-15, 23, in Sector F-5, 19, in Sector E-9, 18, and in Kurri 15.
