LAHORE: A division bench of the Lahore High Court on Thursday extended interim pre arrest bail of Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Mian Shehbaz Sharif in assets beyond means case till July 23.

Earlier a junior lawyer appeared on behalf of Shehbaz Sharif's main counsel Amjad Pervez, and stated that he was not available due to his engagement at Islamabad High Court. NAB's special prosecutor, opposed the adjournment request, arguing that chief justice of Pakistan had taken suo motu notice on inordinate delay in disposal of NAB related cases.
Shehbaz Sharif stated that he had turned up to the court against the advice of his doctors in respect of the judges however many people tried to give political colour to his illnesses, he added.
Shehbaz also pointed out that NAB on last hearing had admitted that the investigation had been completed however NAB officials took entirely different stance in the court. The court inkling with Shehbaz Stance extended his bail.
