ISLAMABAD: On Saturday 55 new coronavirus cases were reported in the federal capital, the official data revealed. According to official data, the tally of confirmed Covid-19 cases surged to 14,821 after 55 more tested positive. Out of 55, 18 patients were male and 37 were female.
It said that so far 12,139 have completely recovered and 162 people have died since the outbreak of the Covid-19. The total number of active cases in the federal capital is 2,682, the data says.
Out of 2,628 active cases, 201 cases are in Sector G-8, 190 in Lohi Bher, 120 in Sector G-8, 118 in Sector G-7, 111 in Sector G-9, 100 in Sector G-6, 93, Bhara Kahu, 92, in Sector G-10, 90, in Tarlai, 83, in Sector I-10, 74, in Sector G-11, 62, in Khana Pull, 57, in Sector F-11, 53, in Sector F-6, 52, in Sohan, 48, in Rawat, 47, in Sector F-8, 43, in Sector I-9, 38 each in Ali Pur, Chak Shehzad, and Sector G-13, 33 in Sector F-7, and 26 each in sectors F-10 and G-5.
Similarly, 19 each in sector F-5 and H-13, 16 in Kurri, 13 each in Model Town Humak and Tarnol, 11 in Shah Allah Ditta, 10 each in sector F-7 and G-14, nine each sector B-17, H-8, Kirpa, eight in H-11, seven in Rawal Town, six each in Bari Iman, sector E-7, sector G-12, Chirrah, five each in Gangi Syedha, Sihala, four each in sector D-12, in sector D-17, in sector I-12, Phulgran and Pind Bagwal, three each in sector D-15, in sector H-12 and in sector I-11, two each in sector E-10, E-8, F-15, Gokina, H-9, I-14 and Said Pur. One each in sector D-18, in sector F-12, in sector E-14, in sector F-16, in Sector E-13, I-16, and Tumair. The data says that the new cases reported on July 23 were 21, July 22, 76, on July 21, 26, on July 20, 23, July 19, 72, on July 18, 50, on July 17, 52, on July 16, 87, July 15, 113, on July 14, 94, on July 13, 85, on July 12, 96, on July 11, 98, on July 10, 98, on July 9, 81, on July 8, 93, July 7, 63, July 6, 85, on July 5, 117, on July 4, 97, on July 3, 113, on July 2 ,170, and on July 1, 137.
