A day after restoring domestic flights from all airports in the country, Pakistan on Friday has allowed international flight operations to fully resume at all airports.
In a notification, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said operations will resume from August 9. "International scheduled flight operations to/from Pakistan will revert to authorizations as per summer-20 scheduling season," the NOTAM (notice to airmen) said.
The notification further said that operations must be conducted in accordance with the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
On Thursday, the government allowed domestic flights to resume from all airports. However, it excluded Turbat, Pangjur, Dalbadin, Zhob, Pasni, Moenjodaro, Nawabshah, and Bahawalpur airports.
All international and domestic flight operations were suspended by Pakistan in March due to the spread of coronavirus.
