LAHORE: Prime Minister Imran Khan in his meeting with MNAs from Faisalabad, here on Friday said the government would extend all out cooperation to help promote industrial and business sectors of the country.
Necessary steps were being taken for facilitation of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), while incentives to the business and construction sectors would ensure development in the country, the premier told MNAs from Faisalabad.
Federal Information Minister Shibli Faraz, Adviser to PM Shahzad Akbar and Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar were also present on the occaison.
The MNAs including Chaudhry Asim Nazir, Nawab Sher Waseer, Raza Nasrullah Ghumman, Khurram Shahzad, Farrukh Habibullah, Faizullah and Raja Riaz Ahmed apprised the PM of the development works in their respective constituencies. They also highlighted the issues but appreciated the government's strategy to overcome the pandemic and also lauded performance of the Faisalabad administration.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan met Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and discussed the matters concerning the provincial development. The CM apprised the PM about steps being taken by the provincial government for the welfare of the masses as well as development projects. The premier directed the provincial authorities to speed up work on development projects.
Different issues concerning the affairs of the provincial government were discussed in the meeting, the sources added. The PM also met Punjab Law Minister Muhammad Basharat Raja and asked him to introduce effective legislation to expedite the process of development in the province.
